IOT-Based
Irrigation System
About Project
The IoT-Based Irrigation System is designed to provide intelligent soil moisture monitoring and irrigation control. Utilizing an IoT framework, the system employs a soil moisture sensor to measure soil moisture levels, triggering two LEDs for visual indication.
Tech Stack
- Microcontroller :Arduino
- Components :Soil Moisture Sensor, Green LED, Red LED
Key Features
- The system utilizes a soil moisture sensor to measure the current soil moisture level, providing real-time data for informed irrigation decisions.
- Visual feedback is provided through two LEDs—green indicating sufficient moisture (above 60%) and red signaling low moisture (60% or below), enabling quick and easy interpretation of soil conditions.
- The LEDs dynamically respond to soil moisture levels, guiding users on when to irrigate based on real-time conditions, optimizing water usage and promoting efficient irrigation practices.
- Users can view sensor readings and moisture percentages in real-time through the serial monitor, aiding in system diagnostics and adjustments.
